Dear Doti.........

For those of you that don´t know this is how I used to start my diary when I was a teenager... I loved to write on my diary my daily anecdotes....... so cute, i still remember.......
Well, here I find myself in Dubai, UAE, for 2 more years, God willing.... This is a good place to be at the right time.  I have met so many interesting people and places, it is incredible.... I thought that after traveling for so long with the military that I had seen it all but the UAE is a whole new world and I am really loving every minute of it.

Every day I want to thank God for everything he has given me in this life, I am so lucky for everything, it is just incredible.  I could not be happier at this time, miss my mom though, but at least I know we are close at heart... I try to call her every day, can not wait to see her this summer and hopefully she can come to spend some time with us in September......

Un amor verdadero..................

In the last few weeks, he pasado mucho tiempo con una persona muy especial..... merece la pena el estar aqui en Dubai, solo para compartir momentos inolvidables juntos.  Jaime y Nati le quieren tanto como yo y see ha vuelto una parte muy importante de nuestra vida...... we love you baby

Una cosa buena que tiene el ser expatriado en un país con pocos españoles es que te invitan a todos los saraos cuando viene alguien mas o menos importante de España. No veáis como estaban todas las marías de excitadas con la idea de que iban a poder encontrarse cara a cara con el hasta hace no mucho soltero mas deseado.
Pues ese día paso ayer, y yo no iba a ser menos y también me anime a ir hasta Abu Dhabi.  Nos juntamos en el Hotel Intercontinental como estaba previsto y allí nos dimos cita como unos 400 españoles a la espera de que llegaran sus majestades.  La ceremonia se celebraba en un salón inmenso del hotel.

Después de una charla de unos diez minutos del príncipe sobre la importante valor que hacemos los españoles en Abu Dhabi y bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla y que venia por un congreso de energías renovables, ambos, el Príncipe Felipe y su mujer Leticia nos ofrecieron un momento a los allí presentes para charlar y sacarse algunas fotos siempre y cuando te dejasen sus inseparables bodyguards!!!

UMMMMMHHHH.

This is Mendi, OMG you guys have to try this.  Last weekend we were invited to my friend´s AJ house to try this delicious meal from YEMEN.  I am now officially in love with the meal.  My Fave to dip yoghourt and rice...... you have to try it, it is delicious.  We are definately doing this again.  It is such a great experience, or I don´t know what to call it, but I definately love all this.  How come I was never exposed to all these cultures before, I love life hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I just got some photos from my friend Jon I could not stop myself and had to post them.  This is how we ended up the year, we had such a great time.  I met Jon out of the blue around 2 months ago and he has become a very fun guy to hang out with, Jaime and Natalia really like him, and he has also clicked really well with the friends I hang out with.  Once again Happy New Year to everyone

what a beautiful day for the beginning of the year.  This was the sunset that I was able to observe coming to work yesterday.  So beautiful,  Li and I had to stop and take the picture.  How beautiful, this is like what heaven represents I believe.  So much peace......... This is a great start to a new year.... wondering what is in storage for us...... love to all in a beautiful day.

Hola !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feliz 2010!!!! what an awesome end of the year...  This year to end the year my new friends from Dubai and I decided to go to the Spanish restaurant ¨Seville¨.  We had a great time.  The food was excellent, the drinks kept flowing and the dance floor just was not big enough for me..... We had a very very good time, even though we were supposed to connect with Madrid at 3.00 AM and the TV broke, but a group of spanish people and us did the 12 grapes togehter with a spoon and a box.... it was a really good time.
