Last post of 2009

Hi everyone, well this is one of my last post of the year..  Today one of my friends at work mentioned that I do not have any updated fotos of Jaime on my blog, so here it goes two recent photos of him.... at his first Real Madrid game.  He was so excited, we both loved it....

Christmas

Hola,

two more days for Christmas !!!!!
I am very excited to spend my first Christmas in Dubai. How cool is that???? I will be missing my family and love ones....., but since it is my first here, I am excited. Got all the presents or most of them...... I was sick today so could not do much....... OH well.....
On thursday we are doing a Christmas potluck in the office and then celebrating with friends at night. Jaime and Nati are so excited, they can not wait for Santa Claus, Even though we really celebrate 3 kings day on the 6th of January.... but they can´t wait to get the presents they asked for...They ask every day how many more days........?????
I love them, they are the cutest thing in life for me. They are the air that I breath every day, could not have made it this far without them............. Well gotta go, work tomorrow and waking up early......

Dubai Life

Hello Everyone,
well we have not posted anything since we left Madrid. We moved to Dubai October 2009. We are living in Dubai even though I work in Abu Dhabi. My contract here is for 3 years and we are really loving it. So far we have overcome many challenges. Getting Visas for everyone, registering the kids in schools, finding an apartment.... it has been a great adventure. It can get really frustrating to people that are not used to dealing with people from different backgrounds, education, and completely different life styles. Myself I feel like if you can overcome dealing with the workers from the UAE, you can overcome anything in this life !!!!! Believe me I love life here. I am not sure if I will end up staying longer than the 3 years, but all I know is that the kids and I are going to make the best out of our time here. We plan on traveling to Jordan, Oman, Egypt, China, among other places.........

It is incredible how Nati and Jaime are speaking english now, it is really amazing. They have made friends and talk to them in english just like if it was their mother´s tongue. I love these little ones, they are amazing kids and I have to be very grateful to have them in my life.

Well I have to go to bed because tomorrow I work at 6 in the morning. I will start posting more frequently now hopefully...
